Enter the point as latitude and longtitude, then convert it into state plane
using coordinate file utilites coordinate transform. I'm reciting this by
memory, so the exact command isn't in front of me right now. If that's not
what you need, please let me know exactly what you are trying to do.

Thank you very much for your reply. yes I am in right way. I am adopting
this method.sir I have latitude and longitude in the form of degree min.
second can you please tell me method for entering point in this form. I
now I am converting this in to desimal form and then entering in to
survCADD. then converting in to State plane 27. But when i check latitude
and longitude of pt. by using "lable lat/long" command it gives me
slightly different latitude and longitude. so please tell me how can i am
able to enter lat/long in the degree min. and scond form i.e.(N 24 degree
35min. 10.9 second). thank you.

Not at work today. I'm still looking at an older version. When transforming
it gives choice of source being lat/lon in dd.mmss or decimal degrees, then
the destination coordinates would be the state plane. Are you annotating
after you transfrom to state plane? When you annotate the lat/lon, isn't
there an option to show as dd.mmss or decimal degrees.
