We are using a program called Tralaine, which is a coord. conversion program
which supports about every known coord system in the world. It even allows
you to program your own coord system, which is what I did with the KY Single
Zone. It converts DWG files from one coord to another, it's easy to use.
We just got our Carlson Mining 2007, I'm testing it out know.

Jeff,
The new Carlson Survey 2007 has the ability to convert without the
intermediate conversion.

The option is there if you choose to convert from NAD27 to NAD83 or NAD83
to NAD27. I haven't found out how to convert from NAD83 KY South/North to
NAD83 Single Zone without an intermediate conversion to NAD27. I'm not
sure why it is like that.

The improvements list for Survcadd 2006 says it has support for the
Kentucky Single Zone state plane coordinate system. However, I don't
see it listed in the options for coordinate transformation. Does anyone
know where to find it?
