double click actions. . . .

I have an issue with double click actions and Carlson 2007. I just
deployed it along with ACAD 2007 on a clean machine. I only experience
problems when I use Carlson's supplied ACAD profile, 'Carlson 2007' -- my
other profile works as it should.

When I double-click on text, I get the properties box. I checked all the
relevant system variables like DTEXTED, METEXTED, PICKFIRST, DBLCLKEDIT,
etc. I went into the CUI and looked at the double click properties. When I
clicked on the plus sign to expand it, it disappeared and nothing
happened. It never came back. So I decided to transfer from the ACAD.cui.
I now have Mtext and Text double-click actions defined in the Carlson cui
but I still get the properties box when I double-click on text. Other
double-click actions seem to be working OK even though I have only defined
two.

I am completely stumped. Anybody have a suggestion?

Right click on any toolbar / icon in your program and then go to the bottom
and select "customize". Or simply type CUI at the commandline.

Once you get into the CUI Editor click on the transfer tab. In the left
pane you need to have your MainCUI open. On the right pane you need to have
the original ACAD.CUI open. You'll find the double click actions in the
list on the right and on the left. Take the actions on the right and drag
them over to the pane on the left to add the default double click actions to
your main cui file.

Make sure to drag the entire action group, not just the action.
