curve table

Postby seng1 » Wed Jan 02, 2008 6:14 pm

I'm trying to create a curve table and I am getting messages like these:

"bad argument type: stringp 11.3449 :error#0"
and
"bad argument type: stringp 26.8261 :error#0"

The table headings will show up in the drawing, but none of the curve information shows up. I'm a novice Carlson user - Any suggestions?

Is this on every drawing or only certain ones? Maybe insert to a new empty drawing and try again.

curve table

Postby seng1 » Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:04 pm

I just tried to insert the old drawing into new empty drawing. After I exploded the block, some of the linework disappeared. The curve table worked until I changed the text size (made it smaller), then it quit working.

Fonts

Make sure you don't have any strange big fonts enabled. We had a homemade font that really screwed with the table output.

I don't think we have any strange big fonts enabled- (would they be located in the "text styles" ?)
Just the normal fonts we've always used. It seems to me this may have started after we installed the 2008 carlson update?
This is the latest message I get in the command line when I try to create a curve table:
bad argument type: stringp 18537.6 :error#0
Any other suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks
