trouble Exporting to Lieca

first time here so please bear (bare?) with me..

I am using Carlson Survey 2007 with AutoCAD 2007

we are using Lieca 1100 series instruments in the field with pcmcia data cards

I have no problem downloading data from the data card to CAD

the problem is when I try to export data from a file created in Carlson to the data card.

I can convert to GSI and transfer it to the card when it is in the card slot on the side of my laptop

the file appears the same as all the rest of the GSI files in the folder

but when the card is placed in the gun, the gun does not recognise the file.

...

as a simple check I can plug the card back into the computer and open a new CAD file, download the points from the card using the same exact procedure as typical
and see the points as they should be on my drawing....

any thoughts?

issue resolved, sort of..
still unable to load points to data card with card in slot in computer.

with Carson Survey 2007 to load through cable gun must be in GeoCOM On-Line mode.
