TDS .raw files

We use TDS Rangers running TDS Survey Pro. We also use alpha-numeric point ID's, which forces the DC to create .raw files rather than .rw5 files. When I try to import a TDS raw file, Carlson filters out all files but those with the .rw5 extension. If I override the filter and select my .raw file, Carlson won't let me import it. Do I have to manually change the extension on each TDS raw file I want to import? Thanks for any help.

I found a solution. Under "Open/Save Settings", if I uncheck the option for "Prompt for RW5 File on Startup" I can select .raw files.

It's asking for a Carlson RW5 to save the TDS RAW into. The proper procedure is to go to edit process raw file and open a new empty Carlson RW5 and then do file-import-TDS and then pick the TDS RAW or RW5. A tds RW5 and a Carlson RW5 are not the same format and if you just open a tds one it will not process correctly, you have to import it.
