Point Group Manager..

Hi.!
I want to craete a point group from the drawing..How can I do that.?Thanks a lot..

Go to "Points" pulldown menu, select "Point Group Manager" (8th item down on my list). In pop-up dialog under "Groups" select "Create Point Group." A new dialog will pop up. Uncheck the "include all" box and check the "point list" box. You are then provided with a variety of options for selecting points from your drawing to include in the new group.

Yes..I clicked Create Point Gruop,unchecked Include All,checked from Point List DWG:Select option..And I selected my points on the drawing..But my points didn't seem on the list..Why not.?

I am using Carlson 2009 with Intellicad. I tested for Point group functionality using the select from DWG method, inside polyline and inside circle. They all worked perfectly. The only thing I can think to suggest is to check the "exclude" tab and make sure that there is not a selection set that is being excluded from your list. Other than that, you'll have to get help from the pros. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Also, perhaps the drawing symbology has been stripped of the Carlson point attributes (i.e. exploded)? You could try reinserting them to see if it makes a difference.

make sure you press save changes when you are creating the point group.

Yes,I pressed Save Changes option but nothing is on the list..I checked my point proporties,these are points..But ı didn't create a point group..
