Somehow, my Carlson installation became corrupted and would not run. By that I mean that the Carlson initialization failed on opening Intellicad. I fixed the problem by running the install program again. Still, I would like some insight into how/why this happened. I did not modify any files to my knowledge. I did have some network trouble lately due to a failed switch, but I do not think that this would affect these local files. Thx.

PS. I also keep getting the following error over and over again, interspersed with various commands, though it does not seem to adversely affect the program function:

Hatch spacing too dense, or dash size too small.

It seems to have cropped up after I began defining custom fonts.

Scadutil.dll depends on some of the files going to Windows\System32 folder. Some other software has likely replaced the files, causing this failure.

The density of some of Intellicad hatches is different from that in AutoCAD - review which hatch patterns are in use and see if changing the scale takes care of the problem.

Thanks. I was using zero hatch patterns. I only had a simple drawing with some lines and text to explore the features of the software.
