process deed file - edit deed routine

when inputting deed lines in the process deed file edit (not enter deed desc.) In 2008 I could enter numbers then press ENTER to get to next field for bearings....now ENTER does not work. Is there a setting for this ??? (also for your next release...the bearings should preceed the distance !!!!)
