If I erase all the predefined layers prior to running F2F, I would expect to white for all of the new layers created. (F2F set up color is by layer) But I don't, I get all different colors. What is causing/controling this?

So you are running F2F in a drawing with only layer 0, and the resulting layers that get created have colors assigned? Or do the entities themselves have a color assigned?
