My Question is how do you enter and assign latitude and longitude coordinates to create points?

I ask this because i used my hand held gps for recon found some iron pins took shots on the with my hand held (good for with in 5'). and now i would like to enter those cordinates in carlson survey and rotate the deed in, or a least check the distances with the cordinates i shot.

Can Carlson Survey even do this???

Pull down Points menu, Select Coordinate File Utilities, Select Coordinate Transformation, then it should work for you.

I just figured out what i was doing wrong. i was entering the direction and then the degrees minutes seconds. if you do that it always puts it in the same location 00°00'00". You must enter the degrees and then the direction. Thank you for your help to let me know i was on the right track :D
