I have an aerial survey file with contours and spot shots (no unforunately I don't have the 3d triangle lines) and I can create a Carlson surface and tin file from it. I also have a file of tree locations without any elevations and I'd like to link the points to the surface so I can give the client a rough elevation for his tree catalogue. Any ideas?....

Someone in my office pointed that out to me before I left last night and I successfully used it this am.

Regardless, thanks for coming through for me, that was precisely what I did. "Surface>Spot Elev By Surface Model"
