Flipping Tin lines

I'm very new to Carlson as we're switching over from LDD right now. i haven't had any training as yet so am having to figure everything out myself.
apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but i didn't find it in my search. in LDD once you make your surface you have the option of editing it by flipping the tin lines. for example if you're interpolating accross a ditch you can flip the line to go along the TOB instead. is there a utility like this in carlson survey 2008? i see i can edit the contours by basically redrawing a section but that doesn't seem right since the surface is unchanged. thanks in advance and i'm sure i'll be ssing you all again.
