what happened to the import pull down from the edit raw file dropdown?
I have to pick or create a RW5 first, before being able to see the import function under file drop down

Hey Jerry,

I see the import under "File", "Import" in the Edit-Process Raw File Command. It this what you are refering to?

under pull down "survey","edit process raw data"
you get a dialog box to create a new or open an existing file,
but the only type of file you can select is a rw5.

in 2009 the process raw file would open the actual application which had all of the header pulldowns to include "file", "import" to select other types of files.

(we usualy copy the "raw" to "rw5" anyway, but now you are forced to.)

Mine works identical to the way it worked in 2009. I go to Survey, Edit-Process Raw Data, File, and then "Import" is the 10th item on the menu. Then I just select a .raw file under the TDS option. Running build 091220 on acad.

You need to uncheck the option "Prompt for Raw File on Startup" under Open and Save Settings.
