In LD3 in the Inquiry toolbar
there is: STATION/ OFFSET OBJECT
which I used often to check stuff.
Is there such a thing in Carlson?

Try:
Centerline>Calculate Offsets
This command calculates the station and offsets of point coordinates relative to a centerline
