I just installed 2017 Carlson Survey on top of Autocad 2017. The "spot elev by surface model" no longer works. Did Carlson do away with it?

Carlson Civil>3D Data>Set Point Elevations>By Surface Model

We never had civil. It was in survey.

Carlson Survey>Surface>Spot Elevations>Draw Spot Elevation
User Reference>Single Surface File
It works.

We don't have civil....

In Carlson Survey -
It was Surface-Spot Elevations-Spot Elevations by Surface Model. Then I could pick the option of using surface entities (contour lines) without a tin.

It was working in 2016.

I had the same problem last week and it took a while to get it working.

SURFACE/SPOT ELEVATION/DRAW SPOT ELEVATION/ then the trick is to select, from the dialogue box, USE REFERENCE and set to SINGLE SURFACE FILE
