Moving multiple objects

We just installed Carlson Survey 2006. I can only move, erase, etc. one
object at a time, unless I window multiple objects. It must be a setting
or something I am missing. I want to be able to individually select
multiple objects to move. Any help would be appreciated.

uncheck "Use Shift to add to selection"
