Likewise.

Also getting the same error using command "edit-process raw data" as well as
"import text/ascii file". (Though routines load ok)

Can't find how to customise menus either, or import custom menus from
Carlson 2006.

Cursor seems to be ok though on 1gb ram and 2.8GHZ processor - have you made
sure grid-snap is turned off?

I'm getting the same error message, although everything seems to work
ok. I'm not having any cursor problems, even with my 512mb laptop. It
does take longer to load than '06, though. More bells and whistles, I guess.

I wonder what the deal is with the highlighting whatever's under the
cursor? must be a new acad thing. doesn't appear to do anything else.

I can't figure out how to customize the menus, either. bummer.

Menu customization appears to be well hidden if it is actually here.

Also having problems with "move point attributes with leader" and "fix point
attribute overlaps" commands.
Specifically:
Unable to load C:\PROGRAM FILES\CARLSON SOFTWARE 2007\LSP\COGOUTIL.ARX
no function definition: CF:COGOUTIL :error#93

Drawing 1 needs to be taken care of as well, the program is asking if I want
to save changes every time I close the program. This got patched in 2006,
why is it back?

No problems with the choppy cursor thing.

So the question was "When can we expect the stand alone version to be
released?" Now it's "When can we expect the stand alone version patches to
be released?"

I didn't mean to sound negative. It does have a sleek feel to it, lots
of new toys to play with. There's always a few problems with a new
software release, unless it don't do anything to begin with. I'm
confident that hese are minor issues that will be worked out.

Unfortunately, keeping up with the latest .DWG version requires
accepting all the "fluff" in the new OEM version.

Personally, I would have disabled all this new visual fluff (like the
object highlighting that Terry was talking about) before shipping this
"Survey" product.

Yes, more fluff from Autodesk to take up more disk space, cause longer
application loading times, etc.

To disable, go to OPTIONS, then the Selection Tab, then under "Selection
Preview", uncheck the two options as desired.

For a list of most of the new AutoCAD 2007 features (some may not apply
to the OEM), see http://www.jtbworld.com/autocad2007.htm

Have recieved a fix for the cogoutil.arx problem from Carlson.

They sent me an extra file to add to the system folder, and everything now
seems to be working fine.

The Drawing 1 problem also seems to have been solved at the same time.

Thank you to Barkley to solving this issue so promptly.

Menu customize patch is comming from tech support. As for the error #93
get the .dll file from tech suport. Copy it to the windows sys32 directory
and it will fix all those area and the program becomes stable.
