Polyline linked to points in .crd files

Is there an option to create a polyline with vertices that correspond to points inside the point database, so that when points change, the polyline keeps up with those changes

Under the Points dropdown menu, select Point Utilities. There is a "link linework with points" command. I have never used it, but I stumbled across it the other day and figured that's how you can do that. We just use C&G coordinate files and C&G lines for linework that we would like linked to the coordinate file (to automatically update if change in coords), but I'm trying to get away from C&G commands, so this had intrigued me. Caveat: I haven't done this yet, but it's worth looking into!

Ah, I just tried this. Didn't work. May not hurt to look in the Carlson Manual for this command.
