Double Click Setting Not Saved

We have just upgraded to Calrson Survey 2007 Standalone and the ability to
double click text to edit seems to have been overlooked. Thanks to some
previous posts I managed to create a double click item to edit text in the
CUI, but it requires the double click edit check box to be ticked under
'Settings' -> 'Preferences' -> 'User Preferences' tab. This setting gets
cleared everytime Carlsons starts up.

Is there a fix to keep this setting?

The double click settings for text editing will be restored to the 2007
standalone program in the next build release. This build will be availible
for downloading from the Carlson website near the middle of March.
