Open the 2008 CUI - type CUI at the command line - this will open the CUI - under the transfer tab open the 2008 on the left and the 2007 on the right - drag and drop your desired items from the 2007 to the 2008 CUI. This will add the 2007 customizations to the 2008 CUI file.
