Windows 2000 not finding hardware lock

I am using CG windows latest version, just upgrade to 2000 and CG can't find hardware lock. Any Suggestions

In order to use Windows XP, you will have to go into programs/accessories/program compatibility wizard to run C&G Survey in windows 2000 mode. Save all files prior to going into settings and using manipulating layers. The software may crash if you create a new layer and try to double click the color before hitting enter upon naming a layer. <br
