buffer overrun

I keep getting an error message when I try to open a particular file that was sent to me."ERROR--BUFFER OVERRUN THIS FILE MAYBE AN AUTOCAD R14 BETA FORMAT FILE" then it boots me out to another window"RUNTIME EROOR ETC...." Whats going on???? I'm pretty sure that the file is just a normal r14 dwg. I even save as such and when I go to open it back up, same problem! If some one could please give me some thoughts on this I would greatly appreciate it!!

I usualy run in to this problem when I work on large drawings.
I have yet to find a solution for this. Once before I e-mailed on to
the guys at c&g and they got it open but usualy I open up the autosaved drawing
and just except the fact that I will loose what I have done in the last
15 minutes( yes, I auto save Every 15 min
