No Prompt Boxes

Postby Steve Hampton » Sat Mar 09, 2002 4:32 pm

CG Windows 5.50.4, Windows 2000 Pro. When I "open" or "save as" a drawing, I only get a command line and not a prompt box. Also, the splash screen for CG Windows says "CG Survey for AutoCad 2000 Version 15.0".

Any ideal's

I don't know if this is the problem or not, but check that the 'CMDDIA' variable in your CAD program is set to 'On' or '1'. This turns the command dialog box on. When off, the open/save routines only go to the command line.<br

That was it! But why does the splash screen say "Autocad 2000"? Every thing seems to working just fine, so I don't really think it's the Autocad release

Make sure the 'FILEDIA' variable is set to 'On' or '1' also.<br
