Barkley,
I get the same problem here. When I go into Quick traverse, the first entry
does fine. Any entry after that puts the new point at 0,0. I can exit Quick
traverse, open it again and the first entry is fine... after that things go
crazy.
I'm using version 5.60.006. Computer is running Windows 2000 Professional.

Mark,
I assume you are using the quick traverse routine. On the traverse options
dialog you can, and probably have, set the Traverse mode to Traverse. This
sets the default traverse mode when you go to quick traverse routine. If
you type S when you first go into the routine, then the mode will change to
sideshot mode. The word with all the letters as capitols except for the
first one indicates what mode you are in. This was done so users could
switch from traverse mode to sideshot mode easily. However, you do have to
switch back to traverse mode if you do change to Sideshot. Make sure you
are in the traverse mode. I tried it here and couldn't duplicate your
problem. What version of CG windows are you running. There were earlier
releases of CG for Windows with Intellicad 2001. The version could be the
problem but not likely. I am running version 5.6 here. Let me know what
you find. You can call me at 800-989-5028 or email me.

When I try to traverse, the first course works OK, but then when I
continue the traverse, C&G starts from the first point I traversed from
rather than the second point I created. I am not in the sideshot mode.
The program just doesn't move up to the next traverse point.
What's up with that?
