SELECTING PROBLEMS

Postby PETER LAMB » Thu Aug 29, 2002 4:22 pm

When I select anything to find its properties, I have no problem being
able to look at the properties. The problem lies in when I go back to
the drawing from the properties window, whatever I have selected becomes
dashed. It stays dashed until I regen the drawing. Then when I zoom or
pan it still is dashed. The only way to get rid of the dashing is to
select something else to find the properties of . Then that becomes
dashed and what ever was dashed becomes fine and that is now dashed.
Whats going on????

I have the same problem - you have to regen or something to get the
ghosting to go away. I gave this problem to C&G in Atlanta on Monday -
have not heard anything back.

Initial findings is that this is an intellicad bug. Suggested work around,
from other users, is to place a bogus "junk" line in the drawing and select
it so that it is the highlighted line. I haven't heard back from the
programmers yet. I will update you after discussing this with them.

Peter and Mark,

This has been confirmed as an intellicad bug. The programmers are aware of
it and are doing what they can to rectify the problem. This may take a
while, so I would use the work around of a bogus line in the drawing if this
gets to aggravating. Rest assured that as soon as we can do something or
get something done about it, we will.
