Creating Design Contours

Postby Stacy » Fri Jul 27, 2007 3:58 am

I have a project that I'm working on in which I need to create design
contours. I'm using Carlson 2007. I have looked in the Volume 3 mannual in
the design pad template to create design contours. Can anyone tell me if
there is another way to create design contours?

Thanks,

Stacy

Draw 2d polylines, then give them an elevation. (Either with a routine,
or with the properties dialog) That always works for me.
You can also put points in on the design elevations, draw 3d polylines
(for breaklines), then contour based on those objects.

I find its easy enough to just contour by hand on the sites I design,
(Usually really small commercial stuff).
