Default colors for point layers

Postby Wayne Fischer » Tue Sep 21, 2004 4:53 pm

In Carlson Survey 2004: Is there a way to set the default colors for the
various point layers? I happen to have the defaults for elev, des and
symbol... blue, green and red, respectively as thick lines when they plot
and don't really want to change that since that would screw up the plotting
of a lot of drawings I get from others. (we have all adopted the same
color-plot thickness scheme)

I know I can change them once they are in, but was wondering if I can change
the system default so it loads with my template.

Just pre-inserting the layers won't do it for me since I put points on a
bunch of different layers and don't want to clutter all my drawings by
having all those layers in all of the drawings.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

No.

Use a template drawing. Reduce the clutter by using layer filters.
