unknown elevation and 3D Polylines

Postby Matthew Timion » Fri Sep 20, 2002 3:06 am

Hello all,

How do I create unknown elevations in 3d polylines over a constant gradient?
I need to enter points into my 3d polyline and have it calculate the
elevation based on the elevation of other points on the line. I'm sure that
this is possible, so how do I do it?

Thanks a million!

Edit | Polyline Utilities | Add Polyline Vertex

If you select a 3D Polyline, the elevation of that new vertex is calculated. Note that you can also enter your own elevation if you desire.
