I'm a CAD Tech with 2 years of SurvCADD experience. I do not have XML but I
can assure you that there are many routines in SurvCADD that are not
forgiving when an "ESCape" or "Cancel" is used. I am having a similar
problem in the DTM module, and have isolated about 20 routines in COGO that
have the same problem. Unfortunately, you have already discovered the
cure -- close your session and restart SurvCADD. This is a common problem
with all AutoCAD routines, be it SurvCADD, Eagle Point or whatever program
your using. Error correction is very hard to program because there are so
many variables that are turned on (or off) for the duration of the routine
and then turned off (or on) when the routine is finished. If the routine
does not finish, there may be several settings that are incorrect for any
further dwg editing. Just one man's experience. Carlson has been very good
at fixing these kinds of things as long as you can provide them with a
detailed, step by step of how the problem occurred. Good luck!
