Grouping nodes wishlist

I've just started using the group nodes feature of XML2 and find it quite
useful. It would be even more useful if it was added to some other
functions such as:

Edit Points
Erase Points
Translate Points
Rotate Points
Align Points
Scale Points
Move Points
All Point Attribute Commands
Modify Points

basically add the ability to select a point group when asked to select
points in general.

Are you sure that's not included? What would be the purpose
of point groups if you can't use them for point number
input? Maybe someone will chime in soon with the
answer.............

I agree with Geoff, I'd like to see point groups used in more SurvCADD
commands.
I cannot see where point groups are used in Geoffs list of commands.

I would also like to see point groups created when point databases are
created.
For example:- setting a filter so that points with a particular code are
imported into a point group when using the command "Import Text/Ascii"
command.

Yes, unfortunatly the guys in Henniker are a couple steps ahead in the area of point groups...
