Don, as far as getting rid of the attributes of certain points,
currently i would think that "Erase Point Attributes" would work for
you. It will require a manual pick of the attributes to get rid of but
it works quick so i don't think it will take you a significant amount of
time to do this. The down side to this is that if you need the
attributes that you used this command on to be displayed again, you will
have to use the draw/locate point command and redraw them to the screen.
But if you are at completion of the drawing and just want to clean it
up a little then this might work for you.
I also would like to see the ability to change the decimal place setting
on existing points on the screen. I have added this to the wish list
and i think that maybe the logical place to put this option would be in
the "Edit Multiple Point Attributes" command. Here when you select the
elevation attribute for editing, we could have a field to set the
decimal place. Just my thoughts on it, anyone have any ideas?
Hope this helps.

Does anyone know an easy way to remove points from the drawing without
"erasing" them completely? For instance, I may want to leave the symbol but
not inlcude the descriptor and elevation in a cluttered drawing. I know
that I can just turn off layers but I don't want to do this on all the
shots, just specific ones. Also, on occasion I want to have some elevations
shown to a tenth of a foot and others to a hundreth (soft and hard shots)
but I can't seem to get the "easy" way to accomplish these goals.
thanks,
