Road Profiles Forcing Tie In???

Postby j_wes_cole » Fri Jan 12, 2007 9:36 pm

I am having trouble related with designing roads and using the vertical
profile editor in the civil 2007 package. It is forcing the end of the
alignment/profile to tie back into the natural grade surface. This is
sometimes what the design calls for, but generally I am working with
certain design %'s and need it to hold these over the calculated tie-in
point. I can't seem to get the software to stop tying it back to existing
grade. Any thoughts on how to prevent it from doing this?

You may need to confirm that you have the latest build of the software.
Check under your help menu and about Carlson for your build date,
then go to the Carlsonsw website and download the latest patch file if
necessary. You can also access the profile out side of roads and modify
it there. Under the "Profile" pull down select "Input/Edit Profile File"
and modify you profile here.
