Are you using the standalone or the Autocad version? Also, are you running
vista?

After googling the error, it seems that one possible cause might be spyware
on your computer.

If you dont already have it, try downloading spybot (its free) and scanning
your pc.

If that doesn't work, make sure your all your hardware drivers are up to
date.

Regards,

Oliver

Using Standalone on Vista. I have run several spyware programs but will
try spybot. Have updated all hardware drivers. I am running dual monitors
and am thinking it may have something to do with that (nvidia graphics
card). Thanks for the suggestions. Is anyone else having this problem?
Would like to try to isolate the possible casuse.

Carlson 2008 is Vista compatible - no prior versions are supported on Vista.

Error “gedit 3”

This error is caused by conflicting programs that run in the background including Norton's Anti-Virus, Microsoft.Net Framework and some network programs. Try turning off any programs that are running in the background, disabling the Antivirus software, or disconnecting from the network. Also try doing a search to remove any spyware or Trojans on the system. Video nvidea has also shown interference.
