point notes on different layer

Postby cheinly » Tue Jul 05, 2005 3:41 am

may be I am just missing it how do you get the point notes to plot on their
own layer and not the line work layer for a given code.

If this does not exist in 2004 please add to 2006 before you ship me my new
copy

thanks

Calvin, you aren't missing anything, I get the same results you do. I
like the idea for an option to put the point notes on a separate layer.
I have added this to the wish list and have notified the programmers
of your request.

You can do this in two steps:

1.Draw-Locate Points (Notes off)
2.Draw-Locate Points(Only Notes on) and choose the layer for Notes

Nava, true but one too many steps for me. But it is a work around.
