Point Associations

Postby SoonerSurveyor » Mon Apr 07, 2008 7:54 pm

I am having an issue with copying points from one DWG and pasting them into another. When I do this the nodes are losing their association with the attributes. Any one else having this problem. It doesn't help when I W Block them in, and my carlson is set to group point entities?

It could possibly be a setting witht he UCS. I would not copy points but use the draw-locate routine to place them into the drawing.

Thank you Jason. I will research into possible problems with UCS. I can't use LP to bring in points because they will not be layered appropriately, etc. I am usually processing data to stich into an existing (large) topo. Any other solutiuons would be welcome, or maybe there is functionality within the LP function that I am unaware of.
