Problems saving to older versions

Getting "OUT OF MEMORY" error when trying to open dwg files saved from 2009, with the lastest patch. This problem seemed to happen after the last patch.

I can't get the save as or export from a 2008 LDD dwg to save into a 2004 format dwg with any luck at all. It shows fatal errors so much that it either won't open or when open it won't save. Any help to understand/fix this would be very much appreciated.
