Right-Click Customization

Has anyone noticed that the right-click customization resets itself once you
close Carlson Survey? When I open the program and open a drawing they are
back at the default settings. How can I correct this? I am using Carlson
Survey 2006.

Just installed the update to Survey 2006 & noticed the right-click
customization still resets itself after closing the program. Any news on a
solution to this?

Benji,

As a temporary work-around, create a new button with the macro command:
^C^C_SHORTCUTMENU **

Where ** applies to the variable value of the setup you require.

See the following link on which values to use:

Not a great solution, but clicking a button is certainly quicker than having
to go through the preferences dialogue every time.

Hopefully Carlson will come up with a solution soon.

Hey all, I got fooled on this one. Actually under the settings pulldown
there is a command called "Mouse Click Settings", this is where you make
your right click customizations. Also the mbuttonpan (middle button)
command has been included on the dialog. The thinking was it would be
easier to make the changes using these new commands instead of the
traditional methods. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner and for
not knowing this one right out of the gate. I would suggest taking a
look at the command and choosing the setting best for you. Let me know
if you have any problems or concerns.

Are you trying to use the shortcut settings in "Options"? If so, they won't
stick. Instead, go to the "Settings" pulldown menu and select "Mouse Click
Settings". This is where you will need to set up the mouse.

I used this in Survey 2004 and now it is disabled in 2006. Any way to
restore it?
