Entering A Deed

Postby Mongoeric » Sat Aug 29, 2009 9:00 pm

I am running through the Tutorials and have a question about Tutorial 1, Entering a Deed.

When it comes time to enter a deed I go to SURVEY, ENTER DEED DESCRIPTION, and you must answer a bunch of questions on the point name, bearing and lenghth.

I you make a mistake is there a way to go back and correct it? If I don't realize the mistake until much later is there a way to edit the CRD file within Carlson. Can I edit the *.crd in a notebook editor.

Thanks for the hlep.

You can edit points in the *.crd file using the point editor (command line: editpt)

or you can skip the whole enter deed description routine (since you can't change the way it labels the lines)
use PROCESS DEED FILE.. in here you run the lines around in an editor, see the picture, then when your done, you draw, label & coordinate the deed.
