Are you guys going to port to Bricscad? They are the best alternative to autocad.

You would make alot of users happy -- for Christmas. Especially Mr. Carlson with all the new customers you'll have. Bricscad V10 is really pretty close to Acad libraries, and there even a Netload interface created.

Carlson products running on current Bricscad is something I have been hoping for from the first time I heard there was an Intellicad port.

I am just getting ready to demo the 2010 release to see how much improvement there is in the Intellicad engine. Sure would be nice to be able to switch to Carlson and know my VLisp code would still work.

If Carlson was going to port to Bricscad, it would certainly be an added incentive to upgrade to 2010. Does it look like 2010 will be ported to Bricscad?

At this point we are looking into Bricscad. Though there are no plans to add it in 2010 and our 2011 product will have the Intellicad 7.0 engine, it may be something that get added in the future. How far off in the future we are not sure but we are aware that some customers are interested in it and it's been taken under consideration.

Those of you that are hoping for this may be interested in taking a look at our 2011 product when it's released in the spring and see if it's more what you're looking for.
