We've been using Carlson Survey 2006 for a few months (from AutoCAD
14/Softdesk 8). How do you draw a line by entering the northings and
eastings for the start and end without creating new points? In SD, we
used to be able to just use the Draw Line command and then enter the
northing followed by a comma and then the easting for both the start and
end. Carlson does not work this way. Any suggestions that don't involve
creating points?
Thanks!
Wendy

Turn LINE ON, turn points off, then use Traverse

-or-

Use Extend by Distance

John is right. Just type L [enter] at the command line and enter your
coordinates with the easting first. You can even enter a point number if
you want to connect to an existing point.
