carlson xml

Postby botty » Tue Apr 04, 2006 7:01 pm

While working on a project yesterday, I noticed that items I created
(symbols, lines, etc.) on one layer when transfered to a different layer
did not take on the attributes on the new layer (ie, color). Tried a
regen, then figured when I rebooted the computer in the morning it would
solve the problem. Didn't work. Now when I create an item, no matter
what layer, it shows up black and prints black (don't know if linetype
changes or not, generally working with all continuous at default width).
Anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

Check the following sysvars.

CECOLOR (default=BYLAYER)
CELTYPE (default=BYLAYER)
CELWEIGHT (default=-1)

Thanks - evidently the colors were by block (not sure how they got
changed, fat fingers i guess) - by the way, carlson xml doesn't recognize
the next two

Sorry. Forgot this was the Carlson Survey NG.

I'm surprised CECOLOR worked at all in CS.
