Hey Guys and Gals,
I was only bringing that to your attention. Under the settings dialog box,
you have
an option of "Link coords with drawing". This option allows you to move any
of
the coordinates you want to and also if you mess up, you can type "undo" and
the
coordinate file fixes itself. I was only pointing out that you may "move"
any point
and undo it to go back to the original and your coordinate file wiill also
reflect that.
But, with the "scale points" and "translate points" it is not so simple. I
would like for
Carlson to make all those work the same. If you are going to link the crd
file to the
drawing, then it should be all of the commands, not some and not the other.
If you are going to type undo, and the graphical representation of your
drawing
goes back to before the "oops", then scaling and translations should be so
simple.
I just didn't want some greenhorn, or veteran, if he is not so inclined, to
grab aholt
of this software thinking he was safe typing "undo"
See what i'm sayin???

Hey guys,
Has anyone noticed that when you scale coordinates, translate coordinates,
etc
that you have one shot only. That is, when you perform those actions, you
cannot
simply type "undo" and get your coordinates back. Once you go through that
action
you are stuck with the coordinates in the crd file. You can type the
command "undo"
and have the points go back to their old positions, but your coordinates
file will not
go back. Even if the "link points with crd file" is toggled or not.
Any fixes or comments?
