Running Collector Connector Across a Network
If Collector Connector is being run across a local area network (LAN), it is important that all users have read/write access to the program directory. If users do not have access to this directory, an error will occur when they try to load the program. The most common error to occur under this situation is an Access Denied error, but the exact error will vary depending upon your system setup. The user will not be able to run the program until he has access rights to the directory where Collector Connector is installed.
The default name that the installation program uses for this directory is: Drive:\SightSrv\CollConn where Drive is replaced by the drive letter where the program is installed.
