Collector Connector (CC10)
Can’t Find a File That was Received
If you have received a file from your data collector, but cannot locate the file when you attempt to load it into your COGO program, you should first check what directory is specified for the Default “Receive To” Path on the Collector Connector Configure tab. If this directory is set to something other than the directory where your COGO program looks for its data files, you will need to either move the file to the appropriate directory using the Windows Explorer, or simply load the file out of the directory where it was received. To avoid this problem in the future, you may wish to set the Default “Receive To” Path on the Collector Connector Configure tab to the desired directory.
If the path is set to the correct directory, you should verify that you typed the file name correctly. If you have elected to Remember Last Used File Names, you can view the name you entered for the last COGO file by pressing the d key when the cursor is located in the COGO File Name field.
If this was the last file that you accessed through Collector Connector, you can check the contents of the CCINFO.TXT file for the status of the file transfer. You can view this file using the File > View CCInfo File routine.
