Parity Error

 

 

A parity error may occur when the setting you have chosen for the Parity setting on the Collector Connector Configure tab does not match the parity setting of your data collector.  First clear the error message by clicking the OK button, then cancel the transfer in progress by clicking the Abort button on the Collector Connector Send/Receive tab.  Adjust the parity settings as needed and reattempt the transfer.

 

This error may also occur if you have set Parity to either Odd or Even and Data Bits is set to 8.  If this is the case, simply change Collector Connector’s Parity setting to None and reattempt the transfer.
