"Sight" Survey  (SS117)

 

"16 Bit Windows Sub-system error" or "16 Bit Windows based program not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications" 

 

 

This error may occur when attempting to run "Sight" Survey on certain Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 based systems.  To fix this error:

 

1.  Open Windows Explorer (My Computer)

2.  Navigate to the C:\Windows\Repair folder

3.  Right click on the file: Autoexec.nt and left-click Copy

4.  Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32 folder

5.  Right-click on the folder name and left-click Paste

6.  Close the Explorer window and restart "Sight" Survey
