"Sight" Survey
(SS12)
Edges of the Drawing are Not Plotted
If the edges of your drawing are not plotted, check the plotting margin
limits of your output device in your printer or
plotter documentation. Some printers and plotters can only plot within a
certain margin around the edge of the paper. You should also make sure that
you selected the proper Paper Size
on the Drawing Configuration Menu.
In addition, you should check your printer/plotter setup
in the Windows Control Panel.
Click on your plotter in the list of installed printers that appears, then click
on the Setup
button to access the
Printer/Plotter Setup
dialog box for your plotter. Check the type of plotter that Windows is
configured for - you can see this in the bar at the top of the
Printer/Plotter Setup
dialog box.
Hint: If your plotter is capable of plotting
to a larger paper size than what you are using, try setting the plotter (not the
paper settings in "Sight" Survey!) to the next largest paper size. This
will fool the plotter into behaving as if it had a larger printable area to work
with.
