"Sight" Survey  (SS122)

Some Colors Don't Print

If your drawing shows colors that are not printing correctly (usually printing as black) you may need to adjust the color settings in the C:\WINDOWS\CADCNTRL.INI file.  We don't know the reason for this, nor does it happen on all color printers; however it seems to happen when printing to HP DeskJet printers and PDF files.

The color adjustments you need to make are very minor and will not be noticed.

Close "Sight" Survey if it is open.  Open the file: C:\WINDOWS\CADCNTRL.INI   It will open in Windows Notepad.  Scroll down until you see a section entitled [COLORS].  Replace the lines pen0 through pen15 with these lines (you can copy and paste them into the file).

Scroll down a little farther in the file until you get to another set of lines referring to Pens, and replace them with these lines.
