"Sight" Survey (SS14)
Plot is Too Small or Too Large on Paper
To make your drawing fit on the paper when it is too small or too large, use the File > Plot Drawing > Fit to Page routine. This routine is discussed beginning on page 166 in the original "Sight" Survey manual.
You can also change the size of the drawing on your paper by entering a different plot scale using the File >Plot Drawing > Fit to Page routine. When you are prompted Plot to Fit? (else at exact scale), press N and you will be prompted to enter the plotting scale. Entering a smaller number for the scale will increase the size of the drawing on the page and entering a larger number will decrease the size of the drawing on the page. Keep in mind that when you plot a drawing at a scale other than the scale it was created at, the text and symbols may no longer plot at their desired size.
If you wish to permanently change the scale of your drawing (versus just plotting at a different scale), use the Config > Drawing Configuration Menu routine. After changing the scale of your drawing, you may wish to re-center the drawing on the page by using the Draw > Center Paper (CE) routine.
